Dear Santa! ABNH Christmas Event Day 3

November 6, 2013

Hi, everyone, and welcome to DAY 3 of our Christmas event here at A Blog Named Hero!  Michelle Lupton here today, along with regular design team members, Tina, Melissa and Leslie.   We’d like to welcome you, and also welcome our AH-MA-ZING guest designers for today! Our guests today are Debby Hughes, Amy Tsuruta, Britta Swiderski and Stephanie Severin, and they’ve made some gorgeous cards for you today.

We’ve
all been VERY good this year, so Santa sent us some oh-so-yummy goodies to use today from
Hero Arts, CAS-ual Fridays, Lawn Fawn, American Crafts – Amy Tangerine, Avery Elle,
Simon Says Stamp, and Neat and Tangled!  Aren’t we lucky! Here’s what we all came up with!

Debby Hughes:

Debby Hughes

I am a HUGE fan of
Debby Hughes and her blog, Lime Doodle.  This card does not disappoint –
the amazing texture in the background, the fun snowman with his glossy
eyes and holly-decorated hat, the elegant snowflake – it’s got it all!
Debby thanks Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp for her gifts from Santa!!

Amy Tsuruta:

Amy Tsuruta

Wow!! Amy’s gorgeous set of notecards is just so
cute!! I love the matching envelopes with the splat, and the holly
inside each card is the perfect touch!  Amy thanks Hero Arts, Lawn Fawn
and Neat and Tangled for her gifts from Santa!!

Britta Swiderski:

Britta Swiderski

Gotta love a masculine card!  I find masculine cards
so difficult, but Britta is obviously an expert! A perfect Christmas
card for a special man in your life 🙂  Britta thanks Hero Arts and Lawn
Fawn for her gifts from Santa!!

Stephanie Severin:
Stephanie Severin

Navy blue and purple – not colours I would
immediately associate with Christmas – which is why I love this card so
much!  Love something out of the ordinary!  (And Lawn Fawn’s Yeti is
sooooo cute!)  Stephanie thanks Hero Arts, Lawn Fawn and Simon Says
Stamp for her gifts from Santa!!

Leslie Hanna:

Leslie Hanna

I love the colour scheme Leslie has used – and I love the use of a Christmas set on a card that is not necessarily for Christmas!  Leslie thanks Hero Arts, Lawn Fawn, American Crafts – Amy Tangerine and Avery Elle for her gifts from Santa!!

Melissa Shea:

Melissa Shea

Love the kraft, love the hearts, LOVE the glitter on the “merry”! Melissa thanks Hero Arts and American Crafts – Amy Tangerine for her gifts from Santa!!

Michelle Lupton:

This is mine 😉  And, yes, I did cut all those holly leaves out by hand.  I’m crazy, I know!! LOL! I would like to thank Hero Arts and CAS-ual Fridays for my gifts from Santa!!

Tina Basa:

Tina Basa

So simple, so elegant – the twine is just fabulous with the glittery heart in the centre!  Tina thanks Hero Arts and Lawn Fawn for her gifts from Santa!!

Thanks
so much for visiting today, but don’t forget to come back tomorrow to
see some more cards from our design team and some more special Christmas
guests!

Dear Santa: DAY TWO!

November 5, 2013

Hi everyone, here we are again – it’s day two of our Dear Santa celebration and I am so excited about todays amazing Guest Designers Kelly Rasmussen, Kimberly Crawford, and Stephanie Klauck! So many talented girls, right? I bet you will love their creations just as much as we do!

You know what “Dear Santa” is all about right? The ABNH Design team has been very nice this year, so good old Santa brought them goodies from some of their favorite companies. How lovely!

So we have a lot to show you! Let’s start the parade!

Kimberly Crawford

Wow, how could anyone resist this beauty! I love how Kimberly combined those backgrounds – so pretty and soft! And the sequins make this card unique and give them such a nice touch!

Kelly Rasmussen
Kelly Rasmussen

Kelly’s card rocks! Her layout with the banner, the beautiful background and the big glittery snowflake knocked my socks off!

Stephanie Klauck
Stephanie Klauck

What a gorgeous card from Stephanie. Her coloring is awesome on this stamp! The world looks so real! Adding this banner and bow is such a clever idea, I wish it was mine 😉

Christine Drogt

Next is me. I’m in love with modeling paste – remember? So I used it along that beautiful Hero Arts snowman, some cool Kelly Purkey sentiments and this adorable chipboard from American crafts Amy Tangerine.

Stephanie Britt

Steph’s card in adorable, right? Such a clean, white beauty!  Stephanie embossed a cool graphic background for some texturea and stamped some snowflakes from Lawn Fawn. For her sentiment she combined Amy Tangerine thickers with an Avery Elle stamp. Such a cool combination!

Don’t forget to leave a comment on Monday’s post for a chance to win a spot in Online Card Classes newest offering: Holiday Card Workshop 2013!

Well that’s it for us today! Please be sure to come back tomorrow for more amazing Guest Designers and fabulous projects from our incredible Design Team!

Thanks again so much to our ever-generous “Santas” American Crafts Amy Tangerine, Hero Arts, Simon Says Stamp, Avery Elle, Kelly Purkey and Lawn Fawn !
