Hello!

October 25, 2015

Hi, Jessica here!  This month we are collaborating with Lawn Fawn and my card for today uses one of my favorite Lawn Fawn stamp sets!

Here’s my card!
I started off by watercoloring the background panel with distress inks.  I let them dry and then stamp the background stamp with versamark before heat-embossing it with white powder.  Next I stamped the birds and word bubbles with copic-friendly dye ink and cut them with my Scan N Cut.  I colored the birds with copics and then popped them off my card base with foam mounting tape!  It’s a bright and cheery card that will be perfect for my musical friends!
Thanks so much for visiting today and don’t forget to play along with our current challenge: Cards for Kids!!
As always our super generous sponsor:
Is awarding a gift certificate to one random lucky entry!

More Lawn Fawn FUN!

October 19, 2015

Hi, everyone, Michelle here today. I was so excited when I found out that A Blog Named Hero would be collaborating with Lawn Fawn during October – their stamps are so much fun!

I decided to make a card featuring what I think Lawn Fawn does best – making stamp sets to build a scene!

Thanks so much to Kelly-Marie and the staff at Lawn Fawn for letting us play with their wonderful stamps and papers this month!

Happy Hanukkah Racoon

October 17, 2015

My husband keeps calling this Happy Hanuccoon. 🙂

I made this easy card to include with a gift for some friend’s children. Sort of a head start for the challenge coming up on the 20th, to make a “Card for Kids”.

I used two new stamp sets from Lawn Fawn, Holiday Party Animal and Love You a Latke. Some simple die cutting using a great set from Simon Says Stamp and also some gold dots using a Simon Says Stamp Stencil, Falling Snow.

I colored the raccoon using Distress Markers, and cut him out with the matching Lawn Fawn dies.

I hope you’re having a great month and are having fun preparing for upcoming holidays. I’m already dreaming of the Thanksgiving menu.

Love And Laughter

October 13, 2015

Hello everyone! Its Chitra here and I have another card using Lawn Fawn’s “Ready Set Snow” stamp set…

http://www.lawnfawn.com/

Here is my card for you today…

I took a white panel which is die-cut using Lawn Fawn small stitched rectangle; then stamped the snowmen using black ink and colored them using Prisma Colored pencils and gamsol, I also colored the background using a light color. Then I took the snowflakes stamps included in the set and stamped it randomly on the panel using Delicata Golden Glitz ink. I layered the white panel onto a red cardstock. The sentiment is from Hero Arts “Joy To The World” which is stamped using watermark ink and embossed using gold embossing powder.
The printed paper is from Lawn Fawns “Lets Bokeh” which is directly adhered to a white card base; the colored panel is adhered using foam sheet and the sentiment is adhered using foam squares. Lastly I added few sequins.

Here is a close up:

Hope you liked my card and got inspired to get crafty.

We have a new challenge going on, you can click HERE for all details and you could win…

Thanks for stopping by!!

Hugs,
