On the Sixth Day of Christmas

December 6, 2015

Hello friends, Chitra here and today I created this CAS card using JOY TO THE WORLD stamp set.
I stamped the star ornament three times using black ink and colored them using copics; then I drew the strings using a black pen. I stamped the sentiment below the ornaments and then also stamped the small stars which is in the stamp set, those are also colored in using copics.
Hope you like my card.

Wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS.
I’m lucky enough to partner with the very talented May Flaum. Here’s what May has to say about her card:
When it comes to the holidays, Hero Arts stamps are a big part of my preparations! From gift wrap to tags, cards to décor – I love decking the halls with some stamping. This year I find myself drawn to “fa la la” and with both a wood and unmounted stamp with that sentiment. I’ve created a video to share with you how I made this card and wrapped up this gift with some handmade touches. I had a lot of fun creating – so I hope you enjoy!
And she’s also made a video.

I’m Stuck On You

November 19, 2015

Hello friends, welcome back to the blog were we are celebrating Hero Arts love fest this month, how fun is it!! Hope you are enjoying all the amazing creations…
Today I am sharing a non-Christmas card with you all, I played with one of my favorite stamp set called “Your Own Status”…

I started by stamping the images using black ink directly on the cardbase, I masked the pot before stamping the cactus. Then I stamped the image which I wanted to highlight onto a white piece of cardstock and colored it using Copics. Then I stamped the sentiment on a white piece of cardstock and cut around it. The image and sentiment is adhered using foam adhesive.
Here is a close up:

Hope you liked my card.

Now the fun part, there are two $25 gift certificate to giveaway this month. For more details, check out this Rafflecopter.

Love And Laughter

October 13, 2015

Hello everyone! Its Chitra here and I have another card using Lawn Fawn’s “Ready Set Snow” stamp set…

http://www.lawnfawn.com/

Here is my card for you today…

I took a white panel which is die-cut using Lawn Fawn small stitched rectangle; then stamped the snowmen using black ink and colored them using Prisma Colored pencils and gamsol, I also colored the background using a light color. Then I took the snowflakes stamps included in the set and stamped it randomly on the panel using Delicata Golden Glitz ink. I layered the white panel onto a red cardstock. The sentiment is from Hero Arts “Joy To The World” which is stamped using watermark ink and embossed using gold embossing powder.
The printed paper is from Lawn Fawns “Lets Bokeh” which is directly adhered to a white card base; the colored panel is adhered using foam sheet and the sentiment is adhered using foam squares. Lastly I added few sequins.

Here is a close up:

Hope you liked my card and got inspired to get crafty.

Merry Christmas

October 5, 2015

Hello crafty friends, we are super excited to collaborate with  Lawn Fawn this month.. How exciting is it.!!!

http://www.lawnfawn.com/

I got to play with their new released stamps and design paper…
Here is my card…

I stamped the snow globe onto Neenah solar white cardstock and then stamped the two little snowmen inside the globe; colored everything with copics. The snow is created using modeling paste and for the snowfall I used Opal liquid pearl.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts Holiday Petals and Leaves which is stamped on a white cardstock using embossing ink and embossed using gold embossing powder.
Here is a close up:

The background paper from the new Lawn Fawn Let’s Bokeh patterned paper. Finally I added some clear sequins and added red twine for embellishment.

Hope you like my card. Thanks for stopping by!!

Hugs,
