Greetings friends. The A Blog Named Hero’s Challenge for April is Anniversary! We’d love to have you join in the fun, submit a card and be in the running for a prize sponsored by HeroArts!
Lots of creative ways to address this them! I went for a birdhouse and layered clouds!
So many different layers, all colored with Hero Arts Reactive Ink pads! The first step was to ink smoosh and layer Reactive Inks onto watercolor paper. I used Lemon Drop, Green Apple and Pool Party. Check out the dimension achieved with one color simply by smooshing and layering the inks!
I started by trimming the Pool Party piece and added it onto the lower portion of the card. The Cloudy Sky Scene Fancy Die was centered onto a piece of white cardstock so I could create 2 line of clouds. A little Pool Party ink on the edges added dimension. I attached the clouds using foam tape to pop up the upper cloud line.
I trimmed a small piece of the Apple Green Ink watercolor paper to represent the ground.
Check out the texture on the birdhouse! I used Hero Arts Decorative Woodgrain Cardstock to cut out two houses and the post. Vintage Photo Distress Ink smooshed and layered added the perfect color! I cut the roof from Blue cardstock and the birds from the Lemon Drop watercolored piece. A little touch of brown ink added the wings and feet!
The sentiment is from The Big Hug Stamp and Cut set.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope I have inspired you to get crafty. There are prizes to be won by submitting your creation to the A Blog Named Hero Blog post.
