Hi everyone! Do you want to have a dip in the pool? Let’s try this technique on a layout that will make you want to go into the blue!
Here is my second photo tutorial for this awesome blog:
It’s not a new idea, but one that we sometimes forget to use, specially on our scrapbooking.
Let`s begin, shall we?
Here is the basic stuff you’ll need for the technique, the rest is up to you to choose from your stash: a transparency( or acetate), Staz On Opaque White Cotton Ink , and stamps, I used Hero Arts Circles 124, which I love!
Here is a picture after I stamped all the desired images.
As all my stamps were circles, I used circle dies to cut the
stamped images, but you can also use strong punches ( mine were too weak
to “cut it”).
I used a diecut machine to cut all my images.
They will look like these.
I used my Xyron machine to turn the circles into stickers, it’s a great
tool to adhere transparent objects, since the adhesive does not show ( you
can also use spray adhesive or vellum adhesive).
This is how my layout looks with the transparent images adhered to it. I used navy cardstock and 1 photo and a journaling card.
Then I punched medium and small circles of a coordinating line of papers. And distributed and adhered them to my page.
To finish the layout, I just added the journaling and title, and some buttons.
Here is the finished layout.
Now splash your life with a little water, oh sorry ,crafty fun!!!
