Big News!

January 6, 2021

Hi friends,

I’m here to announce that we are hosting a Design Team call! All the information is below, but if you have any questions you can either leave a comment or email us.

Here are the deets:

We are looking for designers who have a real love of Hero Arts (translate: you should already have a stash of Hero Arts goodies, including some that are less than 1 year old).  Given that we’re showing off the company, having product already is a must.

We want you to send us an email telling us above yourself. A bit about your life/family, as well as your crafting journey. Let your personality shine! Don’t be afraid to let your honest self shine through. Are you quirky with a weird sense of humour?! Let us see it! Are you a quiet achiever? Tell us about it.

We’d also like you to include as attachments or links, 4-5 projects that you feel really sum you up as a crafter. If you tend to lean towards Clean and Simple, super layered, heaps of coloured pencil, or inky designs, show us your best!  We want to know what YOU think is your best work.

If you don’t have a particular style and you make cards that run the gambit, show us those too 🙂

Please be sure to include any important information that may effect your design team life (e.g. if you’re moving to another country and will need a month off in the middle of your DT term). We understand that life comes first, but like to be ahead of the curve!

DT expectations:

We expect that as an A Blog Named Hero Designer, you will have a presence on social media of some sort (Instagram, facebook, blog etc). You do not have to have a blog, but if you don’t, other media platforms will be required, as we ask you to promote the challenge blog, and you need somewhere to show off your amazing creations!

Please link us to any social media/blogs you have so we can check you out:)

DT members receive a quarterly incentive from Hero Arts.  DT members will be expected to produce high quality photos of their work. Two projects per month (one is for a solo post, the other is for the challenge post.) Over the term (on year) you may be asked to provide one or two extra projects, for special events, but plenty of notice will be given.

English is our base language, so obviously, we need your English to be of a conversational level.

We look forward to seeing your emails! This is a fun and exciting team to be a part of.

Please email us on ablognamedhero@gmail.com BEFORE January 21st. We will go through and make our selections, then notify successful candidates before end of January, with a view to starting ‘work’ on the team, in February/March.

Thanks!
