Hello there! It’s me, Cha! Today I’m at A Blog Named Hero to show my sparkly card. As we are starting a new year, I decided to create a shaker card. Remember that you can enjoy in this sparkly challenge until January 10th, 2020.
First of all, I picked a 4,25″ by a 5,5-inch piece of black cardstock. I used the Foil Quill tool to create some gold lines on the background simulating fireworks. Besides, I did die cut a frame, also in black cardstock, using the Rectangle Nesting Infinity Die Set and decorated it with some gold lines, too. I also die cut some letters from the Luggage Tag Alphabet die set on black cardstock in order to create the sentiment for this card.
Later, I colored some images with Copic Sketch alcohol markers. I decided to use the bottle and the glass from the Gal Pal Brunch stamp set. I stamped these images with Intense Black Ink that is a Copic-friendly ink, using my Mini MISTI stamping tool. I don’t have many Copic markers but the ones that I have are enough to create some beautiful cards.
Los rotuladores Copic utilizados para cada imagen son:
I glued the black background with the fireworks that I’d created earlier on a white card base. Then, I picked the black frame and added thin double-sided tape on the back and added a piece of acetate. Later, I cut thin foam strips and added them on the back of that frame. So, I added some gold star sequins, gold confetti and gold glitter inside that frame. I attached this piece to the background.
