Hi everyone, it’s Caren here! hope everyone is having a great week, I’m looking forward to the short work week next week for the Fourth of July!
Today I have a fun Fishy card to share with you today.
I used Hero Art’s Fishy stamp and die set to create this card. I stamped the fishbowl onto some patterned paper that had a slight blue gradient with a few blue speckles. I also stamped the bottom part of the fishbowl onto brown patterned paper and cut out the sand part of the bowl. I paper pieced this onto the fishbowl. I stamped the fish and rocks onto some white card stock and used the dies to cut out the fish. I hand cut the rocks.
I heat embossed the Stay Golden sentiment onto black card stock and trimmed the piece to fit the sentiment. The fish, rocks, and bottom of the fishbowl was colored with Copic markers.
I die cut a piece of light brown wood-grained patterned paper with a rectangle die that has wonky stitching. I backed this piece with a piece of black card stock. I adhered the fishbowl, fish, and rocks onto this panel. The sentiment was adhered to the panel using dimensional adhesive. This was then attached to a white card base to finish the card.
