Hello everyone! It’s Cha here with another card for A Blog Named Hero. As you know there are a few days left until April’s challenge 2019 is going to end. So, I’m going to show you one different CAS card that I hope you are going to love it!
For today’s card, I used a previous My Monthly Hero kit (February 2019). There are few of this kit available.
First, I stamped the girl with a drink from the main kit at the center of the card, using intense black ink. Then, I masked the image so that I could blend the background with black soot Distress ink except for the top and bottom edges of the card, for these, I decided to blend some white pigment ink.
Later, I unmasked the central image and started coloring in black and white colors. For coloring, I just used three polychromos colored pencils – warm grey II, warm grey V and black. I started coloring with the dark one, then the medium color and finally, I finished blending the medium and light colors. When I finished coloring, I stamped the image again using Versafine onyx black ink and heat embossed with ultra fine embossing powder.
The sentiment that I picked is also from the main kit and I stamped the sentiment underneath the central image that I heat embossed with white embossing powder, then.
For final details, I just gave some blush to the girl using polychromos colored pencils – carmine, and, also, I decided to stamp the drink several times at the top and at the bottom of my card with versamark ink for a more interesting look. Finally, I gave the image some shimmer and some highlights on the image with a white gel pen.
I attached the card to a standard notecard.
I hope you like this card and, join in April’s challenge 2019!
Thank you so much and… see you the next time!
Wow what a fantastic card Cha!!! Love that vintage look and all the interesting elements you added to create such a fab card! Hugs, Gwendolyn
