Bunny Love

October 27, 2017

Hello, everyone!  It’s Melissa back with more clean and simple inspiration for using critters for this month’s Calling All Critters Challenge.

Lawn Fawn is our sponsor and I used their Snow Day stamp set along with the Hero Arts Totally set (geometric) to create this design.

I used Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Journaling Die to create the main panel.  The geometric line was stamped in black ink.  I then stamped and cut out the two bunnies, popping them up with foam adhesive.  I then stamped a heart in Hero Arts Crimson Ink and cut it out before popping it up with foam adhesive.  A little white Wink of Stella was added to the heart to create a little more shine.  The assembled main panel was then attached to the card base using foam adhesive.

Wishing You – With Lawn Fawn

October 25, 2017

Hi Crafty friends, hope you are liking all Design Team inspirations and I think you have entered to our Challenge which is about critters.

For my card I stamped images from Lawn Fawn, coloured them with Zig markers and fussy cut them out. Then I used Lawn Fawn cloud border trio die to create my panel. Used Hero Arts ink pads to accentuate cloud shapes. Sentiment comes from Hero Arts stamp set. Foam mounted these cloud panel on grey card base.

Glued coloured images. Added few gem stones.

Hope you liked my card.. Please let me know your views.

Oy with the Poodles Already!

October 23, 2017

Good morning! Emily Midgett here today with a card for our Calling All Critters challenge! I loved the cute little poodle in the Ooh La La stamp set from Hero Arts, so I decided to pull it out for this challenge! Poodles remind me of Gilmore Girls and their “new” catchphrase: “Oy with the poodles already!” So funny!

I started by stamping the poodle onto some white card stock using black ink, then cut it out with the coordinating dies. I used a Versamark pen to add some sticky ink to the bow in the poodle’s fur so that I could add some red glitter embossing powder to it. (There’s something so classic about red, white, and black together!) I used my Spectrum Noir shimmer pen to add sparkle to the poodle’s fur, as well.

I die cut a stitched rectangle from some white card stock, adhered my poodle with some dimensional foam adhesive, then added my sentiment from Ooh La La  using the same black ink. I matted the stitched rectangle with some black shimmer paper, then mounted it on a red and white polka dotted card front. Clean, simple, but this cute pup doesn’t need much!

Thanks a Bushel!

October 22, 2017

Hi there, friends!   Kimberly stopping by today with a cute card for our Calling All Critters challenge!    I couldn’t wait to combine Hero Arts and this month’s collaboration partner, Lawn Fawn, for my card!

I created a Magic Color Slider card using the die from Lawn Fawn, as well as the Thanks a Bushel stamp set.   The adorable kitty is from the Hero Arts Purr stamp set.  I did some masking so that the cat would be standing in front of the basket of apples.   I stamped the ‘Meow’ (also from Hero Arts’ Purr) on just the colored portion for even more of a surprise when the tab is pulled!

I added a few colored apple die cuts to the front of the card so it didn’t look quite so plain before being pulled out.  To finish the card,  I added the Pull Here stamp to the tab from Lawn Fawn’s Push Here stamp set, and heat embossed the sentiment, from Bushels of Thanks.

That’s all from me today – hope you’ve enjoyed my card and that you have a chance to play along with us this month!    The only requirements to enter the challenge are to follow the theme and use at least one Hero Arts product on your card.    Can’t wait to see what you create!!
