Hi Friends.. Swapna here with an interactive card to share today.
This month we are collaborating with an amazing company called ChibiTronics, they make cool LED lights to use in paper crafting. If you have not checked their site then please do it.
You can take your paper crafting and card making to another level. Our theme this month is Interactive so make an interactive card and enter the challenge as few days are left.
Now coming to my card. I made a shaker card today.
Hello everyone!
It’s Donna here again and we are continuing our collaboration this month with Chibitronics! I hope you have been enjoying all the wonderful projects the team has created. If you have not had a chance to stop over to A Blog Named Hero’s blog, please do.
This month challenge is “interactive”, which seems to fit with the Chibitronics! If you don’t have Chibitronics you can make a slider or shaker card or anything you can think of that would be interactive! I can’t wait to see what you come up with. And stop by A Blog Named Hero’s blog and get more inspiration!
Here is my card, I am using the Hero Arts Puffer Fish stamp set. This is the cutest stamp set I have seen in a while, there are so many possibilities!
Here is a short video of the lights going on and off using the Chibitronics:
Here is how I put my card together:
1. My card is an A2 (4 1/4 X 5 1/2)
2. I stamped and die cut the puffer fish from the Hero Arts Puffer Fish stamp set,
3. I colored them using copics, the green fish I used copics YG21, 03, 17 and 67, the orange fish I used Y17, 38 and YR68, the baskets I used E57 and 79,
4. The clouds I used the MFT cloud stencil and added the water at the bottom,
5. I placed the baskets with adhesive and then added the fish with dimensionals,
6. To see how I added the lights you can go to an earlier post I showed you step by step on how I added the foil tape and lights, you can click here.
I hope I have inspired you to join the challenge, which is interactive. You can find the Challenge Rules on the blog to make sure you follow the rules to be eligible to win. You can submit your project here!
Good morning! Jess here with a CAS interactive birthday card for our Interactive challenge! It’s hard to see in the photos but my little shark is quite dangerous! 😉
I started by stamping the waves background stamp onto soft navy cardstock with navy ink. I wanted a subtle background for my shark. Then I stamped the sentiment from Killer Messages onto the card with versamark and heat-embossed it with silver embossing powder. I stamped my shark onto white cardstock with copic-friendly ink and colored him with copics. I fussy cut him and then added a layer of clear embossing powder over him to give him more strength and stability. Then I added him to my card with a mini action wobbler.
I trimmed that panel down to 4″ by 5.25″ and then adhered it to a white card base! Simple but fun and a great masculine card! I’ll try to post a video of him “in action” over on my instagram page! 😉 Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure to get your interactive cards entered in our challenge!!
Hello, everyone! It’s Melissa and I’m back today to share another fun, interactive card using Chibitronics and Hero Arts! Our challenge this month is interactive cards and Chibitronics makes it easy to create a card that lights up!
I decided to mask a big moon using distress oxide inks and placed a tiger in front of it. The tiger is a layered image, stamping the black first and then the subtle orange.
I placed the Chibitronics lights behind the three stars to the left of the moon and they light up when the tiger’s head is pressed.
I’m not much of an electrician and have had awesome success with these little lights! So many possibilities! My kids love making the lights turn on and I’m going to have to hide my cards before they drain the batteries!
Remember to link up your very own interactive card here on the blog by next week for your chance to win!
