Hi there, friends, and Happy Friday! Have you linked up your entry for this month’s Watercolor challenge? You still have some time to enter – for all the details, click the link below!
For my card, I combined two purr-fectly adorable cat stamp sets – one from Hero Arts and one from this month’s sponsor, Honey Bee Stamps. They work together beautifully! First I used a heart stencil I found in my stash as a mask, and sponged on some Distress Inks in shades of pink. I flicked some water and some concentrated Distress Ink onto the heart for some added interest. When I removed the mask, I was left with the empty space in which to create my scene.
I stamped the kitties and their fish bowl using the Honey Bee stamp set and colored them in with watercolor markers. I stamped the sentiment, from Hero Arts, just below my scene. I finished the main portion of the card by cutting the heart out.
To create the cool background, I embossed a Hero Arts stencil by running it through my Vagabond with the appropriate sandwich. I love how this turned out! I added a few sequins from Honey Bee and Pretty Pink Posh to finish off my card.
Hope you’ve enjoyed my card today – I can’t wait to see what you create for our challenge!

How darling. This stamp set is so cute.
What a sweet card!
The card is very cute but the poor grammar sets my teeth on edge!! 🙁
Really cute card! Of course, I think anything with kitties is cute. 🙂 Love the coloring on the images, and the embossed background! 🙂 ~ Andrea
