Hi there friends!
I’m here with what will be my final (for now!) post for A Blog Named Hero, I’m going to miss it so much, in fact-I already do.
I know that Lisa & Jess will do an amazing job with the baby I created and nursed along for five years! I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us all.
Ok, on to my card!
I chose the cute coffee cup from Right at Home, and stamped it out using Hero Arts black dye ink, then I took the tiny stamp from Hero Arts set Flower Garden, and stamped all over the coffee cup to create a customised pattern using Just Rust shadow ink—I love patterned tea cups! Once the ink was dry, I coloured over the cup, and added coffee, using Prismacolour pencils.
After cutting the little cup out, and going over the outside with a black marker to finish off the edging, I attached it using dimensionals to a kraft tag that I’d stamped the sentiment onto, layered that on to white card stock and then on to a piece of heavy-weight vellum, both on a bit of a tilt for interest.
For my card base, I ran it through my BigShot, using one of my favourite Kaisercraft embossing folders. I love the interest this folder creates, without overtaking the rest of the design.
I hope you enjoy my card, and the rest of the projects this month—a big thank you to Right At Home for being our first collaboration company of the year!!!
Take care everyone and I hope to ‘see’ you again soon on the blog.
Don’t forget to play along with our challenge this month. There are prizes to be won!
