Sometimes the smallest things…
Hi, Jessica here! We’re finishing up this month’s collaboration with Pretty Pink Posh but I have one more card to share!
Colouring on Grey cardstock!
Gayatri here today with a Christmas card using Hero Arts stamp set.
Here is my card first.
I love the Holiday Petals and Leaves stamp set from Hero Arts. It has a lot of images to use not just for Christmas cards but also to make fall card. Just beautiful images in both solid and outline so you can stamp the solid images using coloured inks and stamp the outline in black and colour them with different medium.
Of course I wanted to colour but I also wanted to combine with solid images. Thinking outside the box, I decided to use a grey cardstock as my base. The grey cardstock is Fog cardstock from Simon Says Stamp. I started with black heat embossing the sentiment on the centre of the panel. then white embossing some images and black embossing others around the sentiment. Love the combination of black and white embossed image as well as solid and outline images. To colour the images, I have used distress markers, Festive Berries, Peeled Paint, Pine Needles and Peacock Feather. Then I applied some clear shimmer on the flowers. The subtle contrast of these images against the grey cardstock is beautiful. Something different than the white or kraft base. Hope you like it.
I simply adhered this panel on the red card base. I like the colour red peeking out on the sides and complements the red flowers and berries. Finally I have added sequins from Classic Christmas mix from this month’s collaboration partner Pretty Pink Posh.
Hope I have inspired you to start your Christmas card collection for this year. I have listed all my supplies below for you.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Just relax
And sometimes I try to make cards not obvious. I mean that the message and the composition are deep, they make you think. The card for today is like that.

The central point seems a bottle which you can see half empty or half full, or even sinking under three dark clouds. And the message of the card with this situation is relax. Ok, I know, this card is weird but for sure stressed people can understand it (well, I hope so!).
I used some products from La Pareja Creativa, an European company, such as the border die, the clouds or the bottle.

Die Cutting!
