Hello, there! I’m sharing two cards I made using a die I purchased very recently from Hero Arts.
I started with a piece of watercolour paper, and I stamped the My Favorite Things “Roses All Over” background stamp in Versamark, and sprinkled on some Hero Arts white embossing powder. Then I hit a snag – my heat gun would not turn on! It has served me well for many, many years, but it’s not good when you have embossing powder already on a stamped image, and no heat gun! So, I took my stamped panel into the kitchen and held it over the toaster! (I remember doing this when I first started out with embossing and didn’t have a heat gun!)
When the powder was nice and melted (and I’d put the toaster away), I added Distress Inks in an ombre fashion. I then decided that I didn’t want the panel to cover the whole card front, so I made two cards!
I hope you come back again tomorrow – we have a brand new challenge that I’m pretty sure you’re going to LOVE!! And there’s a voucher from Simon Says Stamp up for grabs!
Thanks for visiting 🙂
