I’ve had this white “baby” diecut piece sitting on desk for AGES (it’s from Papertrey Ink). I thought I’d use it (finally!) and so I added some Distress Ink with a blending tool. I was planning on adding colour all over it, but I liked the ombre effect I got by only adding color from the top edge. Then I thought, I wonder what this would look like on an ombre background, but with the ombre going in the opposite direction? This is what happened:
I stamped and clear embossed Hero Arts/Basic Grey Tiny Star Background and blended Salty Ocean Distress Ink from the bottom edge of the card. I then added the die cut word and a little white banner from Simon Says Stamp (I cut it down from a larger banner die). Lastly, I added a teeny bit of Wink of Stella to the word “baby” as a finishing touch.
Make sure you come back tomorrow – there’s a new challenge that I know
you’re going to love! There’ll also be a voucher up for grabs from Simon Says Stamp for one lucky entrant!
