Anyone remember that old song by Jimi Hendrix? I saw that cute fox in the Lawn Fawn stamp set Joy to the woods and got it in my head. Also I needed some relaxing colouring therapy and just had to make a foxy background with the foxy lady. I went a bit nuts with this card and sat up until 2.40 in the night to get all the little foxes coloured.
See that foxy lady down in the left corner? She is popped up on 3D-adhesives, got a fancy gold collar and is just a bit foxier than the rest. The Stepping Stone alpha from Hero arts came in handy once again, love that font!
As you might have noticed we have been collaborating with Lawn Fawn this month.
And the current challenge is on the theme recycling. I could say I recycled the gold thread on this card, I found it laying beside the sewing machine. I’m not sure if that counts but that’s as close as I got 😉
The amazing Simon Says Stamp is giving away a shopping spree to one lucky winner.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you will be joining me in singing Foxy Lady over and over in your head now, it doesn’t seem to want to go away now.
This card is fabulous! I love the orange foxes. It really pops. Great job Maya 🙂
Has me thinking of the song "What does the fox say?" Like the coloring.

Really cool! I love the graphic feel of this card.
Yes, it counts, you could've tossed that thread! and love this–great design and coloring and the popped up one is great!
and, yep, love that Hendrix song!
I know you posted this a while ago, but I just came across it and your comment about therapeutic coloring. So many times people have looked at my cards and said something like, "I can't believe you did that. I would never have the patience to do that!" They don't realize that, yes, it does take patience, but in reality I enter a different "zone", a meditative space in which the coloring is calming and, as you said, therapeutic, rather than a burden. Thank you for the phrase and for this lovely card. Happy Holidays.
