It’s Teresa here with my solo post for August. I’m a little sad to see summer go by so quickly and that we are approaching back to school season! However, I’m excited for back to school because I know many of us will be busy with getting the kids ready, buying new supplies, etc., annnd some of us will have time to craft when the kids are gone for the day *ahem*.
This month we are featuring Reverse Confetti Stamps in all our challenges!
I wanted to create some simple tags that you can add on gifts for someone. The first tag I just used a simple black and white theme. I stamped out my flowers and the sentiment, added some sequins and some trimmings to the top.
For my second tag, I did a little more work. I embossed the envelope background on the tag and used distress ink to cover the entire tag. I stamped the crane onto another piece of cardstock and colored it using my copics. I adhered it with some foam tape and added some twine again.
For my last project I wanted to make a gift card holder and although this looks hard to do, its really simple! First I cut a piece of cardstock to 3″ X 10 1/2″ in. I scored at 4 3/8″ and 8 3/4″ in. I used the Office Confetti die cuts to cut out the flap and closure on each ends of the cardstock. I stamped out the background all over the panel.
For the bottle cap flair, I first flattened out the cap using the embossing pads and running it through my die cut machine as I would regular die cuts. I punched a circle using this cute clouds pattern paper and stamped out the “FLY” part of the sentiment only. I glued it in the center of the cap and added some dimensional magic and a sprinkle of glitter 🙂 After 3 hours, you will have this really cute flair button!
I think this makes a cute back to school gift for someone, don’t you think?
Now it’s your turn! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to link up your creations for a chance to score a fab prize!
