Video: Things you should try with your cork

April 25, 2014

Hi everyone,

it’s Christine. Of course I have a video for you again. This time I’d like to show you a few things that you can do with your cork. I think every supply or material has so many options and we don’t use them often enough.

I picked cork because our friends from Freckled Fawn send us some really cool cork shapes that I wanted to use. Thanks so much, Freckled Fawn! (Visit their site, they have the most adorable embellishments and very cool kits!)

For my card I took out cork to
– punch it
– emboss it
– color it.
Still this is quite a clean and simple card, right? I love those little details that add some more interest to a card without overloading it.
So check out the video to see what I did (and also to find out what I tried without success – I’ll tell you at some point)

I hope you have a nice weekend – maybe you even find the time to enter a card to our current challenge.

The prize is generously sponsored by Simon Says Stamp.
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out the video. I feel so honored to be part of this team – the opportunity to share my stuff with you means much to me 🙂

Love the look of the cork and how you used a punch to make a sweet border! Fun video too…thanks for sharing.
