It’s Cristina here, with my first post of 2014 and I’m so happy to be back after the holidays.
I know some of you, lucky crafters, were very good last year and got a silhouette machine from Santa, yay! I love my Silhouette, and I use it a lot, so today I made a couple of cards with it:
For this card, I made my own stencil, cutting one of the background files from Hero Arts. Then I added some embossing paste and I removed the stencil. Straight away I covered the entire card with glitter and I let it dry. Once it dried, I removed the extra glitter and assembled the card.
On this card I wanted the die cut to have the look of dimension, so I cut it first out of masking paper, and I adhered it to the front of the card. Then I added color with my distress inks and sprayed a bit of water. Then stamped some smaller images and removed the mask. Finished it by glueing down the die cut a bit off set.
Now, if you are like me, you are collecting lots of stencils, or making your own. So don’t forget about the Stenciled class that is starting soon!
We had a spot in that class to give away and the winner is:
So send us an email to ABlogNamedHero@gmail.com to get your spot in the class!
Now, don’t forget that we have our first challenge of 2014 going on right now, so play along!
Thanks for stopping by!
