Hello and happy Friday!
Welcome to day 8 of the Christmas-travaganza! Sabrina here to share a piece of holiday decor using some Hero Arts background stamps.
It always seems like this time of year, when there are a million other things to be done, that I get the itchin’ to do a little holiday stitchin’. This time it was an applique pillow that was asking to be made. To make it unique, I stamped a few HA background stamps onto die cut triangles with Crafter’s Ink and ironed them onto a fabric backing.
It’s a great way to get a little more mileage from your stamp collection and a great way to get or give a one-of-a-kind item. You can create a focal point on your pillow, combined with pre-printed fabric or stamp the entire thing!
It’s really as easy as inking up your stamp and pressing to fabric – the same way you would to paper. If you sew (or are interested in learning) and give fabric stamping a try, leave a link in the comments – I’d love to see your creations too!
Stamps – Be Jolly CG466, Designer Snowflakes CL622, Chevron Background (SC Exclusive)
Ink – Colorbox Crafter’s Ink
Wishing you a happy holiday season!
