Celebration Day 4!!

March 29, 2012

Hi there and welcome to day 4!!
Today we’ve got some really gorgeous cards for you to see as our Guest Designers continue to bring the magic using their favourite Hero Arts stamps!

The theme is

Without further ado, here are todays cards!

Kelly Rasmussen made this beauty

 Kelly Rasmussen

WOW. what a great way to use up small scraps of paper in a way that looks NOTHING like scraps! And who doesn’t love background stamps?! So bright and cheery.

In typical gorgeous style, Lucy Abrams made us this:

Lucy Abrams

**edited** The adorable foxes in this card are actually from the stamp! To make them facing each other Lucy simply cut off the head and tail (no foxes were harmed in the making of this card though :)) and put them on the opposing side for one of them! HOW COOL!
(apologies for our earlier text saying this was a digital card)

And Hero Arts Flickr Group sweetheart Lin Brandyberry created this stunning number!

Lin Brandyberry
Notice how Lin used the Hydrangea stamp to create the background ‘patterned paper’  too?! Just genius!
Well that’s another three amazing cards for you!

Please come back tomorrow for our final day of this wonderful Celebration week!

We can’t thank you all enough for your support and excitement. It means the world to us.

The products used in the above cards are linked below (of course).

I kept looking at Lin's background paper thinking it has to be the hydrangea stamp. Then I had to figure out which part of the stamp! Love it.

Kelly's card is a great use of backgounds. Now I'll start cutting rays.

Digital images are so fun to use. They can be any size and mirror imaged. Thanks, Lucy, for showcasing them.

I love the layout of the first one and what a great way to use up scraps – but like you say, it doesn't look like it.

The second one is so cute and I love the paper piecing.

The Hydranga looks stunning. What a clever idea to create the background with it too.
